Lace Up for a Cause: Player Registration Now Open for Hockey for Healthy Homes

Raritan Valley Habitat for Humanity is proud to open player registration for the David L. Reiley Memorial Hockey for Healthy Homes, a special night on the ice that honors David’s legacy while raising critical funds to help local families live in safe, healthy homes.

How to Join the Game

Players can secure their spot on the ice by choosing one of two registration options:

  • Fundraise to Play: Register with a $10 registration fee and commit to raising a minimum of $500 through Peer-to-Peer fundraising by March 1st. After registering, you’ll receive an email with a link to create your personal fundraising page, where you can share your story and collect donations from friends, family, coworkers, and teammates.

  • Pay to Play: Prefer to skip fundraising? Players may choose the $500 Pay-to-Play option, which satisfies the participation requirement immediately.

Both options provide full eligibility to participate in the game and directly support Raritan Valley Habitat for Humanity’s Healthy Homes program.

Your Fundraising Goal

Players who choose the fundraising option are asked to raise a minimum of $500 by March 1st to participate in the game. You may choose to donate the full amount yourself to meet the minimum, and continued fundraising beyond that goal is always encouraged and greatly appreciated.

Every player who meets the $500 participation requirement will receive an official Hockey for Healthy Homes uniform jersey to wear on game day.

Become an Honorary Captain

Want to take your impact even further? The top two fundraisers will be named Honorary Captains and receive:

  • A captain’s “C” on their jersey

  • Recognition across Raritan Valley Habitat for Humanity’s social media platforms

  • Special game-day privileges and acknowledgments
